Got this quarter and was excited till I felt it in my hand and saw it was plastic :( Also dug this huge medallion - probably the biggest one ever for me. Dont know it's exact meaning but will have to research it.
This weekend we are to be in the 100's so you all in the pleasant climes can feel smug :) steve in so az

Probably the quarter is kids play money! May belong to a game or for teaching them how to make change! The token is neat and both have school on them! I guess you were hunting the school grounds or play areas? Be careful detecting in 100 degrees weather.....drink plenty of water and stay hydrated!

Sure is a big one! Supposed to be 70 tomorrow, then back in the 60's all week. :)
 
Maybe that plastic quarter is a prototype for our new coins............our money's not worth anything anyway. Might as well be plastic!!:rofl:
