No different on sound Volume with the black widow headphones ___:shrug:

I Just got a set of black widow headphone to use with my explorer II
but i see no different with the limiter switch up or down the sound does not change. To me my koss ur-30 are louder BUT the black widow headphones does block-out a lot of the outside noises. The limiter switch and the black widow headphones work great on my gti 2500, very loud. So the only thing that i could come up with is that the built in limiter on the EXPLORER II is the reason why i can not get the loud volume i was hoping for from the black widow headphones. What do you Guys think? And yes I have the volume on the explorer set to max

I too see the same thing with the Black widows and other headphones too that have the limiter circuit as it makes no difference on the Explorer.
I need the volume so i have to look for the loudest headphones and found the Uniprobe headphones I have were louder and the same as the Timberwolfs, but still not loud enough for me, so I got a amp from Doc that runs off a 9 volt battery and now I can use any headphones.

I thought there was something wrong with my headphones too. The limiter does nothing that I can see. I'd heard how LOUD they were supposed to be, but I thought the stock Koss were louder. However, the BW"s knock out so much ambient noise, I found I didn't need to have the volume that loud. Like Max, I'm about 2 to 3 clicks up from the bottom. Definitely saves the old ear drums...
