No excuse, I know

John D.

New member
Hello Everyone,
I know this is a lame excuse for not being on-line or detecting for quite awhile. Last year I retired and bought a GoldWing. I know that is a pitiful excuse but it is all I have.
If I still have friends here I have a question. I just recently found a rock about the size of a quarter, very dark brown however I ground a small place and it is the color of steel.
It is as heavy as lead, very hard, my bench grinder hardly scratched and it is not magnetic. I read that meteorites are usually magnetic.
Does anyone have any idea what it might be.
By the way, I really missed you all while I was away, I promise I will mend my ways.
Your Friend,
John D.

All you had to do was strap your detector on your bike. Can you post a picture of the Alien kidney stone?

Hi Uncle Willy and khouse,
Hey I like the idea,"It's an alien kidney stone or a gall stone from Bigfoot."
That is what I will say it is until I can scan it and send you all a pic.
I have thought about making a carrier and going detecting with my GoldWing. I will try it as soon as the snow melts.
That way I can enjoy two hobbies at once.

You detector would look good strapped across your wind screen! Put that Kidney stone on ebay and make a million dollars. Heck, people are still buying corn flakes that look like their state.

Hey I know got 3 HD's and when it's nice out riding is as much fun as hunting! I just got a "Geezer Glide" HD for X-mas(lectraglide)........13 miles in 4 months........dang snow!! Jump in and get back in!
