No much happening here....looking for Spring to come quickly!!

I don't know about you but I'm not finding anything beside the usual amount of coins and assorted junk jewellery. Even though the temps are beginning to climb here, it's still not warm enough for people to get out and be as physically active as they are in Spring and Summer. It's still lot's of fun to get out though and detect but like all of you, I'm looking forward to the warmer weather and a great year of detecting some great finds!!

Couple of decent finds there Goldsrike. "Dig" the sunglasses. I find quite a few of them here at the beach. It has been quite slow here as well, but you always seem to come up with some nice finds and quite a few great ones. How many of those parks do you have around you? They keep on giving. Keep on posting as it encourages all of us.

Thanks Sanderling! There are a lot of parks fairly close to where I live here in the Inland Empire of SoCal. There are a number of detectorist's around so it's a question of who detects first that gets the good finds!. With the weather having been so hot and dry for a very long time now, the grass is either very short or burned with the water cut backs in place. The different cities have cut way back on their watering schedules in the parks so if an item of jewellery is dropped, it cannot get lost in tall grass and just lays on the surface exposed. That being said, there are always things to find and yes, even gold and silver items and it's a question of tactics and determination!
