Mark,

Same here in Gettysburg. Tough to tell how much is already down because of the drifts but it looks like more than a foot and a half with another 5-8 inches predicted for today.

Nope, not here in Boise. It was 52 degrees yesterday and it's supposed to be around 50 today and Sunday. Gotta love global warming.

Here in Belchertown,Ma. we still have frozen earth. The lastest snow storm is supposed to miss us. 2 misses in 2 weeks, I don't know how long we can dodge the bullet. We usually get some Noreaster's by now or at least in the month of Feb-Mar. Still too early to tell, but if you don't like the weather, "wait a minute". My yard is patchy at best with remnant snow. But it is the frost that prevents any detecting activity, oh Yeah, and the cold temps. 19degrees right now 9:50 a.m. Sat. Feb6th, 2010. Operating temp. range from the owners manual Safari 32 to 122 deg. F. Would'nt want to damage the circuitry. Good time to scout for new hunting spots (stonewalls, old farms, cellar holes). Have a good day all!!! Ron

The last snowfall reports for Gettysburg are calling for a total of 28 to 30 inches of new snow, ending late afternoon. Gonna be a while before I go diggin' again :stars:

My kids would be in their glory for that much snow. My 2 older boys like to snowboard. Sledding and snowmen are always fun. And then there's my opinion no snow and warm weather. Ron
