Hit an old schoolhouse site that operated from the 1880's to the early '60s. It was torn down in '66 and there is absolutely no trace of it whatsoever. A lot of hunting in trees and scrub. I was there for about 2 hrs and found 5 IH's (1883, 1884, 1892, 1896, and 1902) and an 1882 Canadian LC (holed). I also found a bunch of wheaties from the teen's to forties. They're still soaking in olive oil since I wasn't in the mood to clean ALL of them. I'm gonna try it again with my 8" coil and see if that works better in the scrub. Nothing was terribly deep. There's gotta be at least a few Merc's and silver rosie's in there somewhere. Can't load a pic because the filesize is too large. I'll get one asap and post it

Anytime you find 5 Indians in one day is a great day of detecting and especially when most are in the 1800's. Hope you post a pic sometime and Good Luck on finding some silver at the site.
