That is one of the very best reports that I have read since the Deus first arrived.

I only wish that something like it had been posted this side of the big pond when the first dozen owners received so much flack for just telling others how good this new machine is.

The Deus has now been proved to be something rather special and will rank as the 21st century turning point in the conception of modern day detectors.

We in the UK are just waiting for certain other manufacturers to latch on to the freedom of being cordless and light weight combined with outstanding performance.

I feel sure that its just a matter of time. Jerry.

I don't think any post has ever been more honest than yours, about any detector in fact.

Very Nice !

Great post Andy, I can say from my own experience when I was waiting for my Deus to come in the mail I was like a kid on the day before Christmas, after I got my detector the first place I hunted was an old ghost town full of cans and trashy metals rather than taking it to a park to learn the machine on easy hunting grounds, BIG MITAKE, I thought what a piece of overrated s--- I was highly disappointed with this detector. On my 2nd hunt I went to a park to learn the machine and I hit an area that I had hunted along a fence line a few weeks earlier with a top brand high end detector and found something that I have never done before while hunting. I found first, in the same hole, a nail then 4 pennies together then an iron bolt, then at 10 inches a small bullet lead. I had a good (dig me tone) on this hole all of the way to the bullet lead. For me the Deus is definitely a keeper.

Good message Andy, I've watched the Deus since it came out oversea's.
I use 7 land machines and hunt in the UK so know the conditions over there and the quality of finds.
I'm impressed with the Deus, weight, compact.
