:usaflag:anyone please--is it absolutely necessary to noise cancel every time.i ask because most times with me i turn on and stand still with coil about a foot off the ground and let it chirp 5 or6 times and go on with no problems--except my first time out i came across a place about 75 yards from a power pole which was the end of the line .the se made so much noise i had move back the way i got there and it quited down.thats only time i've had trouble.thanks all.good luck.:minelab:
 
Selects the best channel to work in and takes about 30 seconds...matter of fact if I am working a large area may run it several times in a hunt..Learned a long time ago mineralization can change from one end of a football field to the other and sometimes every little bit helps to get that fine keeper...
