Not much but...

Unfortunately been a bad year for me as can';t travel due to health reasons to those old areas and lack of a partner who just had a part of his lung removed due to a cancerous growth.
Last night got a 9 inch badly worn merc from a local park worked over for the last 20 plus years by many detectors with my lightweight Explorer XS so it goes to prove Explorers get them where they are not.
On the bright side my partner is doing well and my health has improved and plan some trips this Fall for some silver..
Keep up the good work guys as really see some nice posts with much silver found..

Get well soon Dan. Nothing like finding something that you just know MANY people have just walked over. Thats called skill not luck. Like you said seems like some great finds this year even with the dry weather now. Ive been surprised with the depth im still getting in the rock hard dirt.

Finds like that are the most rewarding..... Good job Dan.. Them old XS models are still as good as anything out there..... wildherre

I'm glad to hear your health is improving, Dan! My condition has improved also, and I'm able to be "thick in the silver" again!! :hot:

Pulling a 9" merc out of a heavily pillaged park is very, very rewarding!! You still got it!!! Just put that coil to the soil whenever you can, and let your Explorer lead the way!!

Take care,
