Not out of the woods yet.... :stretcher:

Never had a flu, cold or what ever it is like this. Been down for a week and still find it hard to breath. Make it up for about 20 minutes and then back to bed. Doc called in antibiotics and still having a hard time... :stretcher: I got a doctors appointment Monday. If not better by tomarrow morning wife says I am going to emergency room. :help:

Do you have pneumonia??? I had that 2 times, and both times my lung collapsed, you don't want to mess around, if you have any complications, just go to the emergency room.

It took her a while to get over it. She was too stubborn to go to the doctor.

though if it were what I had/have you'd either be dead or in the hospital fighting for your life.

I have DVT's known as Deep Vein Thrombosis...it is where blood clots are being generated in a leg (left leg in my case...a family thing too BTW). The risk is when the blood clots move from the leg...then tend to go to the lungs causing Pulmonary Embolisms...clots in the lungs which hamper breathing.

My first notice of symptoms was I was having a hard time breathing. Just couldn't get enough air. Even walking down the hallway to go to the bathroom took a lot out of me. I got to a point that I told the wife to take me to the hospital. By then I was near death and the doctor told the wife to notify immediate family.

This is NOT the best hospital doctors. Only the Respirator Therapist had a clue what was going on and through his efforts - disagreeing with the lousy doctor - he did what he felt he had to do and his efforts and God kept me alive.

The doctors first said they thought DVT's and PE's yet in any case where that is thought to be the situation they are to immediately start the patient on blood thinnners...me they did not. Later sending me home saying I had Pneumonia.

That was Sept 06. Nov 06 I was back and these same quacks finally said it was DVT's and PE's and started me on blood thinners.

Don't mess with this stuff - it is a killer. Before I went in in Sept 06, I was on my knees almost out of breath and told God that "I, like Jesus on the cross, commend my soul to you Father. I know whatever is your will will happen and I also know that no one and nothing can snatch me from your hands. I put myself into your hands. In Jesus name I pray. Amen"

Get a thorough check out. Living with DVT's and PE's isn't as bad as dying from them. If I scared you or the wife I apologize. This is not a fun thing.

Heavenly Father, I ask you in Jesus loving anf precious name to send Gunswinger the medical help he needs to keep him healthy and alive. Let no one and no disease attempt to snatch him from you hands Father. Thank you Father, in Jesus name. Amen

Please get yourself to the Emergency Room ...

Within a 4- 6 hour period , you should have felt the antibiotics start working and your breathing should have been easing up by then.

I am praying that you will be well very soon

I have been praying for ya! did ya get my phone message?

Don't stay home and get yourself to dr or hosp to find out what you have, anyway I hope so!! Too many unlearned and uncaring drs out there!! I was really ill and put off going to dr or Em Rm and was sick in bed all afternoon Thanksgiving and ill through Christmas until after New Year's Day. Finallty started feeling better but took a lot out of me, as I had no energy and still don't have a lot! I have COPD which makes it difficult to breath and get enough oxygen in my system! Whatever is affectring your breathing needs to be checked and find out just what the problem is!

I hope and pray you soon will be healed in Jesus' blessed name and back to feeling much, much better in God's grace and timing!

God Bless!
