Hi everyone im new to this forum just bought a quattro two weeks ago and i love it one of my finds was this coin looking object im hoping someone can guide me in the right direction in what it mit be.love to read all the great finds and tips you guys write in thank you

forgot to tell you guys alittle info on this i found it about 9 inch down alone a old stone wall in connecticut it is just alittle bigger then a quater and copper coler

My bet would be large cent or possible king george copper. To bad the ground eats them up like that. A lot of mine over here in NY come out looking the same way.

An old copper. I have several but they are spanish maravedis over here.
You can still identify them somewhat if you have one of those coin books (public library?) where they have exact coin measurements of diameter & thickness. The better coin books have a coin pic with exact coin size so you simply lay the coin on the pic to see if it fits.
