from the same field as the 31 coins. I gave them to Don SJ and he cleaned them up and sent a pic back. I'll see if I can find it later.

That must have been quite the field of dreams, lots of something went on in there. Ron

GOOD to see you got the problems straightened out Bob...Did you find this stuff with the SE you were having Problems with??? Nice finds

:please:Great finds Bob! I could see several buttons that appear to be military coat buttons. Are there any inscriptions on any of them? Happy Hunting Grounds!

Savage.

Awesome Bob, you have some wonderful button finds! Here in Pensacola, button finds include British, Spanish, Union, French, and also Confederate. Not to mention Andy jackson, war of 1812. I have been detecting a little more than a year, and have only produced a Civil War Marine Corps Coat Button, and a Union Navy button.

However, your Button finds are quite impressive and I hope to find more.

Keep up the good work and Happy Hunting Grounds!

Savage

Hey Savage, Pensacola is a Great place for Buttons, well, since 1559 anyways - there has been Six Flags flown over this city. But are you gonna' tell him about the Chaplains Cross from 1812 you found?

It was the considered the rarest Artifact during our annual PH&THA Pensacola State Fair Treasure Hunters Booth, as determined by the Judges (Historical Professors from our local College) who for one, had the pleasure to see one before to help authenticate it.

I at least, had a Spanish Coat Button find displayed from the 1790 to 1810 period - and Oh Man was happy to have found that critter.

Bob, great finds, wanna trade? Nawwwww....I better just get out and find some more...you think? Go Get Em' all....:pulltab:
