it was nice to get out today and swing the ole Gamma again. Tried an old soccer field that I noticed a while back next to a motel in what used to be a good part of town many years ago. 2 quarters, 2 dimes 2 nickels,10 pennies (5 copper), and two 38 caliber bullets. Left there and went to a local park for an hour or so and tried around the ball field. 1 quarter, 1 dime, 1 nickel, 8 pennies (4 copper) GB@74, sens@99, disc@16 at the soccer field, GB@68, sens@94, disc@20 at the park/ball field. Sorry no pics tonight, nothing worth showing. Thanks for looking and HH.

Let's hope we can all experience some improved weather as spring gets closer. Maybe we can all find sites that are more productive, too. I know I need to this year.

Hi Capt, just being able to get out is worth a lot but I know the feeling of just finding clad coins if it wasn't for the clad I might as well get out of the hobby because that's all I ever find.
I think I hit a jackpot when I find a hotwheels car, lol

Elton, most of my finds are 1 to 4 inches. Off the top of my head I think the deepest I have retrieved a penny or dime was 7 1/2 inches. An old 40's copper penny from an old school yard. I dug a target @ 8 inches but I think it was a quarter, not a dime. My soil is kind of funny in places around here which limits the depth of my detectors. Gonna post a pic and questions about it tonight.
