I just wanted to say good morning and let you all know that you are in my thoughts and prayers this morning.

Started decorating for Christmas a few days ago but ran out of time. Will probably piddle a little more today at doing some more. Would like to get the tree up this weekend if I can get my lazy self in gear to go get one. Thought I might do it on Friday, but remembered that's the day of the Alabama/Auburn game... can't have ANYTHING going on on THAT day! lol Got to be fully focused on CBS at 1:30pm.

Hope all of you have a wonderful day, full of God's blessings, and all the happiness and joy that each of you deserve. I am truly thankful for my forum family during this season - and each and every day. Love all you guys and gals!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving.

Love you too, Lisa, and hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving Day, get your home ready for Christmas and that the ones you want to win.....come out on top!!! Amen! God Bless! Betty

Awwww... Thanks.

Lisa

Thanks, Ma! I ended up spending the afternoon at Bass Pro Shop. No matter how many times I go there, that place still fascinates me! We got a brand new one nearby (about a year and a half ago), and it something else! The best one I've even been to. Anyway, after I got home from Bass Pro, I went and got my tree. Got it out on the porch for the night, letting the branches loosen up and fall into place before bringing it in to decorate. Maybe by this time tomorrow night I will have the decorating completed. I don't like putting the stuff out, and I don't like putting it away, but I love to look at it in-between times.

Lisa

Thanks, and the same to you, Mike!

Hahahaha! Me neither, Greg. I was referring to the upcoming checkers match. ;-)

I'm rooting for Alabama!

I know what you mean, Lisa, because the older I became the more time I would need to put up the Christmas Tree and decorate it and my home, but then I was divorced when everything fell apart and then not able to do much, because of being emotionally ill, I quit putting up a tree and decorating it! Sometimes I did put decorations around the house, but I don't even do that lately! Just don't feel like hauling the boxes from the basement and then unpacking and packing for putting them away again! The children and granchildren have their own Christmases at their homes now, so I really don't have anyone to Decorate for but me and when Cliff was here, we neither one felt like doing it! Soooo enjoy before things happen and change your homes and families! :) God Bless! Betty

And to you too!

Lisa

You're a good man, Mike! And smart too! lol

Lisa

That's okay. You're entitled to pull for whomever you like... but seems like I remember you telling me once that you didn't like Auburn! Of course you did change your tune and give me a Roll Tide before hitting the post button ! Another good and smart man! ;-)

Lisa

Yeah I do not like auburn at all, unless they are playing a none sec team . I usually always root for a sec team if they are playing someone else.

You're a better man than me... well, you know what I mean. As far as I'm concerned, the SEC is the one and only conference there is, but I wouldn't root for Auburn or Florida if they were playing the University of Iraq - and that's a fact. And it just so happens that they are our next two opponents. I root for ALL other SEC teams, no matter who they are playing, unless it's us. I apologize to my Florida and Auburn friends on the forum (if there are any Auburn people here), it's nothing personal against YOU... just your teams. ;-)

Lisa

You sound just like me , I tell everyone I would not root for louisville if they were playing afganistan. I know that is sad but I can not stand louisville. You know how you get a louisville graduate of your porch? Pay him for the pizza.

thank you for thinking of us. As for Christmas, our decorations are already up. We went to a yard sale and found a small table top tree with lights already on it..got it set up and there ya have it....done.

Both Sherry and I can't climb any ladders or anything and everything from last year is buried in the garage...and Sherry and I are in no condition to pull anything out of it. Casey doesn't have time. She even went to work this morning leaving here at 5 am and will be home probably around 6 pm. So as long as we can get a few pics of the tree light up with Grandma and Leelan that will be good.
The small tree is on our porch so people can see it from the street as they drive by. 3 years ago the only thing we had up was a wreath...with blue bulbs. The blue bulbs represented 2 things...the loss of my Dad that year and also to pay honor to Law Enforcement personnel - at home with the Lord, at home with their families and those 'on the road'.

Usually we put out a small display of baby Jesus and Santa Claus kneeling by the baby Jesus. We don't get into huge displays of lights like many of the neighbors but with the little we put up it means much to us.

Have a great Black Friday and God bless you and yours.
