Took my van to the dealer a while back, just before my 100,000 mile warranty was up... A couple of months later now and my maintenance light AND my check engine light went on. To make matters worse, my transmission started slipping. Took today off so I could drop the car off to get checked and sure enough, it needs a new transmission. However, the guy told me that while the 100,000 mile warranty is up, the transmission is warrantied up to 109,000. I have 107,800 
Would have cost me 90 bucks just to have them check it out but there's no charge cause of the warranty. They're ordering a transmission for me (should have it in a week or so) and it won't cost me! Woo Hoo!!!
