Now it's a gold ring

Well, a 10K gold filled ring anyway. Stopped by for about 45 minutes at the same old park where I found my '61 Rosie on Monday, and nabbed this United States Army ring. Strangely it rang in at a solid +39 and I thought I had a big silver coin, but its base metal isn't silver. Looks copper, but copper tops out at around +37. Perhaps a high zinc content for the base metal?
