Just curious if the machine's audio sounds have changes from the 1500 machine.

John, that I don't know yet. My field rep has the prototype and is testing it up in VA. When he comes back thru within a week I will be able to test it as well. Soon as I know I will report on it.
Garrett will be running Ad's on it in the coming month in Western & Eastern and Lost Treasure Magazines.
I should be getting catalog sheets on it shortly, if you would like one let me know and I'll send it to you, or anyone else that would like one.

It has the standard tones for conductivity ID plus It does a short chirp when in the "profiling" mode. Profiling is the function when it is checking for size range.

Hi All!
Does any one have a clue as to what type of processor Garrett is using in the 1350? Just wondering.
Thanks

He is using the DSP-based PowerMaster.

General
Thanks for the info. Yes I knew he was using a DSP Powermaster however I was wondering what type of processor is in the Detector. Perhaps they are using a Texas Instrument TMS 320 family processor for doing the Digital Signal Processing. This detector could be a killer in terms of what can be derived from the target signature.I will wait for the field reports before I buy.
Regards

but I don't know if they stuck with the same chips for the new machines.
