my own solution. I came up with the NEW SUPER IMPROVED Quick Adjust Bungee
Clamp. I designed this, had the dies made, and had these parts injection
molded. Now I will never have to depend on a supplier to provide me with
such an important component. I had it made with fiberglass reinforced
nylon, so it is darn near indestructible. Just undo the two wing nuts,
and position the clamp on the rod of your metal detector, ANY METAL DETECTOR,
adjust it for balance and mark the spot. Undo the clamp, peel off the
double sided tape and remount the clamp on your detector rod. You're all
done. Now you have a clamp with a "V" grove tube on your detector that
allows you to instantaneously and perfectly adjust the length of your bungee
to support the weight of your detector. </font></p>
