Here's a pic (sorry, poor quality) from my first outing 2 Saturday's ago. For details, see older posts.

...and here's Sunday's pics from another beach in one hour of digging also. The ring was just under the sand, one more rainshower, and anyone would have found it.

I did the quarter testing at the end of the hunt and will confirm that fast swings also go deep down into the sand (wet sand). The MD was giving clear signals on the quarter. The ring was a 5 cent, or gold area, on the display and showed that it was right up top in the sand, I gently glided over the point and found it right away just one cm below.

He's a "she" and she bites my girlfriend. With me, she stands up and flips backwards, then jumps up into my hand and enjoys the lift out of her huge cage. She also likes being massaged, something like the way pet rabbits like it. I can leave the cage open, she won't escape. In fact, she panics after a couple of minutes out, wanting desperately to go back home.
The gems on the ring are zircons. <img src="/metal/html/cry.gif" border=0 width=40 height=15 alt=":cry">

a very talented hamster, for sure!you must be exceedingly proud of her!
