These are finds from a house site shown on an 1862 CW map. I had never found a complete lock before but got both these last week. I thought the bird button was going to be good but after cleaning I now think it is civilian. Not many coins, the people must have been poor, two 1919 pennies and the 1920 Merc shown. The small livestock tag may not be related to the house site but was found near by. The Bureau of Animal Industry was in existence from the 1880
