Hello, and, Thank You for allowing me to enjoy the Finds Treasure Forums. I was wondering if anyone would be able to ID an odd non metallic item i recently found.
it appears to be a toe nail, claw or tooth . Thank you for any help. & happy hunting :)
 
Yup! Chip off a Mastodon tooth. Was it found where there's plowing or construction? It may pay to search the area thoroughly if you can.

im already tempted to go dig up 100 square feet of beach, im sure they will love me ...
probably a wash up from recent dredging ... if i do spot another piece .... im digging ....
