been away detecting for 3 weekends in this first month, the more i use it the more i love this machine, my poor $4000 dollar gold machine seems to be gathering dust lol

found this over the new year holidays, i found just under $50 in change, i found 2 foriegn coins, one an english 5 pence and i think the other coin is indian, theres a carwash token, 6 rings, 2 are silver i think the big one is stainless it says haVana inside it.

The next series of pics is what i found in about 12 hours over 2 days, i dug well over 400 targets but well worth it, for the first time i found more than 2 old coins in one day, it was the kind of day i have dreamt about for years, i found all this in a lake that is well below its normal level.

trash, lots of bottle tops that read 30's and bits of aluminium etc that read 8 -12 which is the same as gold jewellry or our 5 and 10c peices

aluminum pull tabs, various ranging from 12 - 20, also in the jelwery range, also 20 is our 20c peice signal, very frustrating but i can use these for a good cause as people collect these, 4000 pulltabs is enough to create a prosthetic arm for those in need, its always a good cause to save them for :)

Plenty of sinkers or weights, these always give a great signal, signals were ranging from 24 to 36, in our 50c $1 and $2 coin ranges, u just gotta dig them as they sound identical, my fishing tackal box is well and truly full now lol

the loot for 2 days work, nearly $30 in modern coins, 2 rings, 1 junk the other im not sure yet, looks silver with some sort of rocks in it, i dont think they are worth much.

This is what its all about, the old stuff, in 2 days i found more old coins than what i have with the machine in 6 months, i found 13 full pennys ranging from 1917 up, 2 half pennys, 4 florins 3 sixpences and two 3 pences. 7 silver for the weekend :)

i then took my father with me for the following weekend to go where i found all those old coins, unfortunatly the place was packed due to being australia day weekend so we went looking for different areas, didnt found as much but we found some good stuff,

heres my haul for the weekend

Congrats on finding the pre decimals. They seem to get a bit thin on the ground at times. I'm yet to dig a florin. Where did they come in at on the TID?
