WELL,OFF TO THE GAS STATION I GO WITH EMPTY POCKETS AND A PLASTIC -CARD IN MY HAND----------------AAAAAHA,ENOUGHT CHANGE IN MY POCKET FOR A CUP OF JOE.PUT IN 5 GALS. OF GAS ENOUGHT TO GET ME HOME, HARD LIFE ,BUT SOMEONE HAS TO DO IT.

I know the feeling, Last week I filled up my Caviler from almost on E, it cost me just about $50. Now I am at half a tank already. Its still $4.19 a gallon as of yesterday. I went grocery shopping the other day and I spent $80 and got enough food to last 2 weeks, so it looks like I am going to spend about the same amount of money for food and the gas to get me there. Don't you miss the days when you could put $10 in the tank and have that last the week?

Cliff and I tried to get gas at the station, yesterday, but all the pumps were busy except one and it was out of order! Gas was $3.87 9/10 and othere cars' drivers were waiting to get to the pumps, so we just went on to the bank and post office and then the grocery store....didn't buy a lot and it still was $91.00....but we split the price which helps....only thing he eats more than I do! That is okay though, for he helps me with the lawn and other things! So praise God that I have him to help me or I would be like Steve....BROKE!!

I am okay financilly for a while as I robbed Peter to pay Paul and I'll be okay until Jan 2009 when the low rate interest cr. card runs out and wants me to pay a higher rate and then I'll be dipping into my IRA account some more! Hope it doesn't run dry too soon!
