Oh, Boy, Ice and more Ice

DK

New member
No school tomorrow, so gotta get back up at 5am to work the day shift. We are supposed to get 1 to 2 inches of ICE here in Southeast Central Indiana. I would rather have two feet of snow than the ice any day. Pray all stay safe out there. COME ON SPRINGTIME.

Yes, I pray for safety for all and please Lord no power outages, as it can get awfully cold with no heat! Amen! It is icy here with ice cycles hanging from the limbs of my Dogwood Tree....God has decorated it beautifully. First the raindrops froze on every branch and then they got longer as it rained slowly more and more! My Mercury sitting in the driveway is glazed with ice all over...glad I don't have to scrape the ice off, as the Toyota is in the garage and safe from the weather! Tomorow is when the worst is supposed to be here and also Tuesday night with more ice and the white stuff which is supposed to be deeper than we have had already. Some of the previous stuff had not all melted before this one gets here and it is going to be windy and very cold! Sure pray I get to stay in my home and stay warm and out of the weather, as me poor old lungs and bones can't take the cold any more! May God Bless and protect you and yours from any danger or damages from the bad weather! Amen! Ma Betty

Hope you and everyone else don't lose power!

The ice is much harder to plow...huh Mike? With all the snow that's coming, you're going to be a busy guy. Maybe busy isn't the right word...:sleepy:

No ice for you Mike or for Michigan...just plenty of thw white stuff for you to work for a living and supply your family's needs! Amen! May God keep on blessing each of us! Amen! Ma Betty

Spent the day from 6am to 2:30pm chipping and plowing the ice on the schools walkways. Got it all clean soes the new ice has a fresh clean walk to lay on. Been taking our dogs out to do their duty so Joan does not have to go out on the slick stuff, and the dogs are having one doosey of a time trying to squat and stay upright.

This kind of weather is not fit for man nor beast! Be careful DK and don't fall! Most of the schools are closed here in the St. Louis and other areas of MO! It is still coming down and we have plenty of ice and sleet which will take some time to melt off! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Yall sound like your having a time. Praying you do not lose power.

Just had one huge limb come down from the maple tree in our front yard. It just missed our house by inches. Around and inch of ice is covering our tree limbs with more coming down right now. Please pray for those who are homeless and those who have homes but no power.

Dear Lord pleaae be with the homeless and help them through others to have shelter with a warm bed and place to sleep in and may the storm lessen until people's power is not lost or no more tree branches falling to damage houses and cars or people! WE ask this in Jesus' precious name and Praise You for hearing and answering our prayers! You said to ask and to seek and we shall have what we ask for (by faith believing) and will find You when we seek You with all our hearts! Amen! Ma Betty

Looks like we just may see some of the freezing rain? Right now the white stuff is blowing horizontal!!!!!:surprised:

Lots of ice and sleet here and the wind really gusts now and then blowing up what is loose until it is a white out! Hope people are careful who have to be out on the roads travelling or working! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Ended up with around 6 large limbs down in our yard, but thank God none hit the house. Got about an inch of ice and high winds. No school again tomorrow, so will try and remove the ice on the walks at school. Going to be very cold tomorrow. Thankful it is Friday.
