It is a game/hobby where you use a gps to find hidden treasures per say that others have hidden. In many cases there are items in the cache that you can trade with. It is a lot of fun especially with the family. It will take you to places you didn't know existed. They are hidden mostly in public places like parks, boat landings, rest areas, cemetaries, etc.... There are some on private land (with permission) we found one last night on a private property. Matter of fact I have one hidden here. Go over to http://www.geocaching.com/ and check it out. After you read about what geocaching is, click on find a cache. Then type in your zip code and see how many are in your area. The closest one to your house os less than a 1/4 mile and there are 540 of them within 25 miles of your house!
