Soon, the blessings of warmer weather of Springtime will stay! :clapping:

I just so much wanted to go :detecting: at my favorite place, today, but really cannot and didn't go shopping or running errands but will be ready to go, tomorrow, because why do today what I can do tomorrow!!!!

My email is different than it was since I changed something to get the Internet Explorer to work better, but now I don't know how to send myself email for resizing and uploading on the forum! If I weren't so far into adulthood, I would cry like a baby, because that's how frustrated I get trying to learn and remember what to do! It is me and not my Computer and it scares me, for I used to be so good at doing different things, but not anymore! I know how confused and upset the elderly can be now! Oh, woe are we without God's help! God Bless! Betty

Hang in there Ma, it will come to you. keeping you in prayer

I am only 31 and I forget how do do things all the time. Oh well I just keep on trying I might mess something up butt i will get it rigth eventually.HA ! HA!

Well, you are still just a youngen, 7centsworth, even younger than Mike in MI, me son, and it's easier when you'er younger, but the older I get, the more difficult I find it to be to learn and do things differently in this electronic age! After all Ma was born in the dark ages....before electricity was in the rural counties or on the farms where I was born and raised! They say, Ya can't teach an old dog new tricks and I'm beginning to believe it! Oh well, I just keep on plodding along and either I get it or I don't! :) God Bless! Betty

Supposed to be almost 70 soon! :)

it's a little harder to keep on fighting the everyday things in life the older we get. I still go at it yet but sometimes I hate to. The Lord will help you along, Steve in so az

Country life back then was getting crowded if you had a neighbor within 2 miles. All the private back roads were open for any ones use and if you were caught messing with something you shouldn't be your folks heard about it and there was H--- to pay.

I liked those days when life was slower, friends were friends not just someone you knew. Holidays were a family affair and if someone you knew didn't have a place to go they became family, even after the holiday was over they were still family most often.

MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL MY FAMILY IN OUR LORD CHRIST JESUS.

Mark

Can't help you with the email problem, Ma, as I am not to smart when it comes to the computer. Mike from Michigan had to teach me how to do the picture thing. Maybe he can figure it out for you. I love talking to those who grew up in the so called old days. Those of my mom and dads generation and shortly after have alot of wisdom to give those who come after. I miss not having my parents to talk to. I did not always listen to them, but they taught me alot. If you think the older generation had it easy, just talk to them and listen. They worked hard and long with little pay. We actually have it pretty good.

Oh yes, I truly know that DK, for my parents went through the depression and it lasted way into the early years of their marriage and as children they really had a hard time and mine wasn't so easy either on the farm, but we did have food on the table...maybe not much like cornmeal mush or milk and cornbread, or biscuits and water gravy! Do I know what it is to pinch a penny and get by, Oh, I sure do and have for many, many years since childhood! But I stil had it better than my parents growing up and most of their marriage! The 40's, 50's and 60's were difficult and the pay was very little! I rec about a $100.00 per month and only got paid twice a month! But we still could afford things, for the prices were way low, too!

Cliff just told me that the schools gave their big shots large raises and now need more money, so the County Gov't is assessing the property with a far higher assessment (while property values are dropping) to increase the RE Taxes we must pay to keep our homes! Greedy CEOs, greedy Gov't and greedy school Superintendants, Principals and etc. People are laid off but being assessed higher taxes....now go figure that one out! ???? AIG's CEOs rec millions of $$$$ from the company which the FED Govt' have bailed out twice with our tax monies! GRRR! The love of money is the ROOT of ALL EVIL! God Bless! Betty
