What a great day!I returned to a ghost town founded in the early 1800's.I found a draped bust 1807 lg. cent(the second oldest coin in 4 years) a 1923 mercury dime,an 1861-66 G.A.R BADGE/TOKEN with an amazing amount of symbols on the backside,a very small arrow head and a couple of buckles. The weather was fine and the ground is soft. The star says:GRAND ARMY of the REPUBLIC----VETERAN 1861
Search military Veteran medals around that date.It could be original .It's in good shape, nice find.
