..At our last council Meeting at church;we were discussing ways to evangelize-We have had get-togethers in the past where church members can bring guests(wild game dinners;vacation trip slide shows,etc.)WELL-Nobody had any ideas;so old STEVE piped up and said"How about if I have a presentation on my metal detecting??I can bring in my detectors;and my display cases;explain the history of metal detecting;even touch on the Gospel that everybody needs to hear"...Have a door prize or two maybe;......WELL:YOU SHOULDA SEEN THEIR EYES LIGHT UP-they said ALL RIGHTY THEN!!!SOUNDS GREAT!!!SO:I need everybody's expert input on this one-give me all ya got on puttin together a presentation for my church-I did one for an OVER 50's dinner a couple years ago;and it turned out very good;I think-Went thru the history;how a detector works;showed them my favorite finds;had a question and answer session-I JUST LOVE seeing the looks on people's faces when they see my display cases for the first time-I thought I would touch on the Gospel of the Lord;telling them how one act of helping someone out led to being the only one allowed to detect a private beach club for a lifetime.Acts of kindness-the basis of the GOSPEL....Some other council members will even make the dinner for it!!..It will probably be after the Forum Hunt;so I can get all your input in person;also...Thanks in advance;Steve...

Great idea! I did the same thing for our men's meeting. We taped it. I can try to make you a DVD so you can get some ideas?
