CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME FEED BACK ON THE FREQUENCY SHIFTING?IS THIS A MULTI-FREQUENCY DETECTOR?I HEARD SAY IT HAS A 13 KHZ COIL,THIS NOT A DEEP COIL,SO WHAT MAKES IT GO DEEP?WHEN YOU THINK OF DEEP COILS ,YOU THINK OF 3, 5 KHZ COILS?ANY OTHER INFORMATION ON THIS UNIT WOULD BE APPRECIATED.THANK YOU.

The frequency shift is to reduce outside interference. It's a single frequency detector. I don't know why it's so deep, maybe the configuration of the coil, but it is. Other detectors that run at similar frequencies are also deep, such as the Nautilus IIb, the Tesoro Vaquero and Tejon, and many others.
