ok heres my first gold pics

not so good pics but im no genuis with the camera. i found this at a park near a slide under the bark. my dad sells jewelry indepently and so i took it to his house. he wieghed it for me and gave me a scrap price of 98 dollars in todays value. he told me to hold on to it being my first real good find. the pendent is a baptizal pendent. the back is in spainish and translates.....record of baptizmal 10-15-05.

Dob - Very nice find ! Usually they are single, not two pieces found. The slide area where you got it is a good producer for me also.

Tony---I was using a bounty hunter outback. very simple basic machine. Dosent have much on it so i was just in all metal mode. Hoping to get a real detector soon. HH

Congrats, dobbie, on the beautiful necklace and pendant find! I feel sorry for whoever lost it, as I know it must have been very special to them because of their baptism! But I'm glad you were the one to find it and your first gold too! Fantastic!!!
