I don't know, but those sure are cool. I don't wear jewelry other than my wedding band but would love to have one of those.

Don is in my club, and makes awesome rings. The ones Joe is asking about are different. They have both sides of the coin still visible.
 
I think they drill out the inside close to size and then bend the "rim" of the ring so the obverse is now the outside of the ring and the inverse on the inside. Maybe they have to heat it up a bit?
Also looks like they treat it with some kind of chemical to turn it black and then polish up the designs in order to highlight them. What do you think? I think I'll give that a try... Makes for a very cool ring and might be even easier to do instead of tapping for hours on end <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
 
From the land of the Bluenose...those are awesome rings. Think I mentioned to you before that John in Edmonton on the Alberta forum could lend a hand if you run into snags!
