Ok, I & others have done this before......

I've had my F75SE for a very long time but I still have no idea what's under my coil. The sounds are different from my old Minelab. The symbols are different.

SO, that being said, can someone post a listing/chart as to what VDI's correspond to what the target MIGHT be?

17-18-19 almost always foil.

21-22-23 gold rings ( smaller ladies, verified) as well as those pesky sports drink foils. Those rings lock on to 1 to 2 of the numbers a lot of times. I dig a lot of solid number items due to this exp.

Solid 27 lock on was an 1884 shield nickel.

29-30 nickels most all the time, as well as certain tabs, beaver tails and those eraser caps on pencils.

31-50 you name it tabs, rings, ring tabs a whole smorgasbord of items fall in this range of numbers but there is a few examples.

55-62 is zinc in its many forms, from crusty to good condition as well as heavy gold ring and smaller silver rings too. Had a girls thin sterling ring come in and lock on at 65 last week.

69-75 copper pennies, dimes. A number of silver coins come in here as well as the US ones.

79-80-81 Quarters and solid silver wedding rings and WWII B17 Navigator sterling wings.

85-90 half dollars.

Hope this gives you some help,

Lakota

Let me try. It's in Photobucket and that may be the size this forum allows. Here are two versions : .jpeg & .gif. I'll also post the actual addresses below the hyperlinks

These are a combination of logged finds and coins set on the ground in flip cases. I'm still hunting for my first gold coin!

Note that I NEVER use the notch feature on the F-75 anymore. Easier to just ignore the targets in those ranges and occasionally one beckons that turns out to be a good find.
