We had 5 inches of snow to be exact.
Just a river scene..

This one is especially for Steve. Surprised the tough Buckeyes weren't out picky-nicking.

Yes it's a light house on an inland lake. It works and is about 30 ft. high. It's back in a private subdivision.

Just kind of a neat scene. the blue is from shooting through the windshield. I can correct it but thought it added to the scene.

An old one room schoolhouse with probably the original pitcher pump.

If you can see it there's the remains of a shed with a no trespassing sign you can't see.

Hope you enjoyed this as I stayed inside the van and shot these. About a 30mph wind and twenty something degrees.

Let's hunt that school house! :)

Beautiful photos, Paul

I like the photo of the pitcher pump because it brought me back to my childhood days; next door to where we lived ( one street down from Main St.) the husband and wife who lived there had one of these in their back yard. They were childless and so treated the 7 of us as if we were their own...and let us take "well water " anytime we desired. Many time , instead of drinking from it, we just put our selves under it to get cool .

My father was a diabetic and every summer day...sometimes 2-3 times a day, my job was to pump that cold water into milk bottles and bring them to him as he worked in the garage..( self -employed neon sign designer, painter, and installer--a by-gone art)

thank you for the photos.
