Old Bandido Problem

I have an older Tesoro Bandido. Not sure of it's exact age because I got it second hand. No digital display or meter, just a speaker grill and the controls. It has stopped working on Discrim Mode but still works fine in all metal. Any ideas on what might cause this abrupt failure, and would it be economical to have it repaired. I found many fine relics with this machine and I hate to see it go. Thaks in advance for any opinions. AndyB

If you click their banner at the top of this forum you will find their phone number. Tesoro has the reputation of fixing all units at no cost even if your not the original owner and all you will probably have to pay is to ship it to them.

Jiggle it back and forth real fast several times and see what happens <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

Andy,
It only cost me $9.40 to get mine repaired, that was UPS shipping one way.
