Went out today with the F70 on a beach at our lake that had been hit by an fisher 1270 and a garrett gti 1500 by two seasoned hunters. I am happy to report that I was still able to make good finds with the time I had. I found quarters at 10 inches dimes down to 8 inches, my best find was a silver ear ring with what looks to be CZs in it. I will test it and report back of they are real. I will go back to this beach and hit it more when I have more time. My setting where as follows: disk 20 sens 55 thres 0 speed de tones 4h. I was playing with the controls and found out that what ever you leave the menu on you can switch while hunting, I was able to switch from de to sl simply by pushing the + twice and then pushing the - twice rapidly to return to de without going into the menu at all. I found 24 coins while out nothing special.

on wet freshwater sand, yes it will hit very deep. Sure loves silver don't it?
