OLD BOUNTY HUNTER STILL TICKING

bebeeping

Active member
After 3 days of hi temps and humidity it cooled down
So headed south an hours drive away
Tried 3 parks
Got $29.50
Aok for a detector 30 or more years old
Got my gas home[/b]

Some of the old detectors are built like tanks.

Wow, that's a really good day. Know what you mean about them old BHs. My third detector was a BH Quick Draw and my Dad hunted with a BH Tracker IV. Detectors that are both lightweight and inexpensive. Just goes to show if you treat your equipment with respect it just keep going, going and produce.

I have had the Big Bud Pro for 30+ years. Last year I got a a AT Pro.
To tell you the truth I only like the AT Pro just a little more than the B B P
They are equal in finding and ID'ing targets. At Pro is a lot heaver.
One thing for sure is I learned a lot more about metal detecting using the AT Pro.
I want to go out with my B B P now and see how much better I am now.

Tried big bud few days ago after supper
Got $6
Today tried 2 volleyball courts
That I wanted to try for a few years with fisher 1235 got 1 penny

Those Big Buds were ahead of there time like the Teknetics before them. Both George Payne designs.
Too Bad they could not stay in Business.
The Original company that is. No telling what they would have today.

Phone first Texas to see why they won't make them again
They sai they had dot of lead in them
Plus other restrictions. So they can't make them now if they wanted
Used the bh do this week and got $6
[/b]

JULY 5TH DETECTED $2.15 IN AM
THEN SORE HIP AND DEAD BATTERIES
WENT OUT TONIGHT AGAIN
GOT $6.30
SO $8.45 BOUNTY HUNTER DAY IN:canadaflag:
