Old Coin Pattern

JodyReb

New member
I want to build an old coin pattern on my Explorer II. I was going to use the pattern described in Andy's book but thought I'd see if you guys had any other ideas. Some of the places I want to hunt are pretty trashed up and I've gone over them using IM and ferrous as well. I feel quite sure there are more coins there but the high concentration of trash is hiding them. Any ideas or just go with Andy's book procedure? Thanks in advance for your input, JodyReb...

Old coins and tokens not to mention Gold coins come in all up and down the scale.
Try a smaller coil if you haven't already.
Just a thought.

JodyjReb,

Read Bart's post up above. And then read the archives. If you are hunting for anything except shallow clad coins you are wasting times with learning patterns.
