Old Dutch silvers

Eric

New member
These silvers I found few years ago. 1849 and 1850. Although I have older ones, I seem to love these the most. I absolutely love the small 5 cents. Look how tiny it is compared to the US dime.

Thanks for looking.

HH, Eric.

Some nice coins.
That little coins seem to be the same size as our small 1920s nickel better known as the fishscale five cent

Great finds. Somewhere I have a silver German coin that is probably tinier than that one. Never understood why they would make one so small.

Very nice Eric!
It looks like your 5c are as small as out three pences. Always a great feeling when you pull one of those tiny ones up.

A buddy of mine dug a south amercian coin 1/8th centavo? maybe, anyway it was the size of a cigarette butt end but the thickness of a penny or nickle. Smallest coin I've ever seen, had a pic don't know where it went now.

Yeah some of these foreign countries shuck out the smallest coins I have ever seen. Don't know how they keep from losing them all.
