My wife and I spent a week at ST Simons Island, Ga and I spent a few hours with the F 75 on the beach as well as some hunting time on their local dirt. The wet sand area was pretty well sanded in, but did manage a few pieces of clad, junk jewelry and 1 gf band. In the wet sand, I was running all metal, -1 threshold, freq. 7 (didn't notice much difference trying all freq.) and g/b was mostly in the teens. These are pretty much Tinfoil's settings and the 75 ran fairly quiet. Also spent some time in the dry sand and there the F 75 ran just like it does in the dirt. From the dry sand, I did get a silver heart shaped earring and about $3.00 in clad. From one of the parks, I recovered $8.37 in clad, of which, 26 of the coins were nickels and 1 being a no date Buffalo. No jewelry or silver coins, but did find 2 wheats from the 40's. HH jim tn
