Old Fisher Goldbug

I'm new to metal detecting, However since I'm located between the ComStock and California gold Country. I bought an Old fisher Goldbug, are they effective in locating Gold Nuggets? The only model I.D. seems to be the name and M-Scope.

There are probably some folks out there that can give you some first hand experiences with the goldbug, but I do remember reading some articles some years back written by guys using the goldbug and their results and comments were very favorable. Good luck and hope you find some gold. HH jim tn
