Old forged hook and spur??

Found these by a water spring that was a stop on an abandoned dirt road. Any help would be nice. Thanks in advance. The one feels like a spur without the point. It doesn't quite slip over my workboot but it would fit a cowboy boot. The hook is pretty sharp once clean. 1800s buttons found in same spot.
