Got permission to hunt old hotel site by local lake.The hotel was ther around 1890-1930.Just the foundation now.Found couple wheaties 1944,1925s.Also found 55 clad coins.I found two nickles and one was a 1936 Buffalo what a shocker. Not to bad of shape either. And down by the lake I dug a small silver ring/with a diamond in it.about 1/2 caret.don't know if it's real yet,When I popped the ring out of the ground the home owners daughter was watching me.I said well look at this a diamond, and she said yea right.Then I held the dirt up with the diamond sticking out and her eyes almost fell out of her head.5 inches deep by the dock.I think I might have made some competition.She had a great time watching me detect.Quite a big lot to search.I'm going back soon.
