OLD Injun patch gave up an 1864...a couple of Barbers...7 MORE Greenies:smoke:

I think you convinced me to go check out my old IH park again now that it is soaked! Sounds like you had a ball finding those. That token looks to be a CW store card. Is it?

Tell me Bryce what is the weight on the 10 x 12 SEF? Seems like I remember it is a tad heavier than the stock coil. Is that right? I have been using the Pro coil and really liking the weight and depth. My only complaint is that it is a bit touchy to electrical interference.

Most excellent finds bud! Take care and HH - BF

You're really smokin' now with all them great finds buddy! I really like that Boy Scouts Ring, Token, and the Steers Heads Items. Nice '64 Indian also. Can you tell if it had an L on the Ribbon or is it totally worn flat? Keep pounding that Park because that thing is sure giving up a ton of Goodies for you and I hope it continues. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH you lucky detectorist you!

Congrats on a couple good days of hunting!
Hope you guys did good this weekend or is that next weekend Doc is coming to St.Louis??
Oh well congrats again and Keep it up!
H.H.(GOLDDIGGER) J.W.

the 10 x 12 won't be coming off anytime soon...if at all. I actually just walked in the house from meeting Guvner...Doc Bob...Bob's cousin Mike..and a friend named Nick....in St. Louis. We hit O' Fallon Park first...then Nick and I went to Forest Park...then we met back up with Guvner...Doc Bob...and Mike at the little hot spot on the outskirts of Forest Park where you found the seated dime...and I found the seated half dime...and you called me a bad name:crylol:
I didn't find a lot...but did find some DEEP goodies at each place...but it will be a couple of days before I have time to post them. They "ain't purty"...but they are OLD....and we had a blast comparing signals.
Take care JW...and if you EVER make it back to St. Louis to hunt for a day...you best be a callin' my friend.

I have the error one or not. It's pretty worn...but actually looks nice in my hand. That boyscout ring is one of my favorite finds this year. You just never know from one day to the next what will pop out of this park. That is why we all love this hobby though:thumbup:
Thanks for responding my friend...and now I need to check out your post:thumbup:

We'll have to do it again some time. I'll get my stuff posted in a couple of days. We didn't find a lot...but we at least found some stuff. You got a sweetie today...but I'll let you tell about it when you get time. It was great comparing signals today...and I think we all learned something...at least I did anyway.:detecting: Take care buddy. It was nice hunting with you...and we'll have to do it again some time. Keep in touch.

dig them before they turn the place into a strip mall or something.:smoke: Sounds like you have a similar spot that has been kind to you over the years. I know it's bound to dry up sooner or later...but I'll keep pluggin' away. Take care Doug...and good luck on your next hunt.

slightly heavier than the stock coil...but not noticable to me. The pro coil is definately lighter than the SEF coil. The interference doesn't seem to bother the SEF much though. That token is an Illinois chamber of commerce 1/4 cent token. Pretty neat find...as I don't dig many tokens. Take care Robin...and enjoy that pro coil. It's a winner too:thumbup:
