Today I went back to the circa 1910 lodge site that I last hunted in late April. Instead of hunting the entire site I concentrated on the outer fringe area that hasn't produced much in the past. Walking slow while hunting in All Metal Mode I was able to find 6 old coins that were missed when I've hunted there in the past. The 1908-D Barber Quarter and the 1927 Mercury Dime were down 6 inches in the same hole and gave a solid 88 reading and was a very obvious signal that made me wonder how it had been missed over the years. The Walking Liberty was buried with the Jefferson Nickel and was also 6 inches deep, but the piece of solder wire was in the ground about 3 inches above it. It gave various numbers between 55 and 82 but was loud and was the kind of signal that I would always dig. Total time spent hunting was about 2 hours and I feel that these were targets that I just plain missed in the past....Thanks for looking
