Old park hunt! :fisher:

Went back to an old park that a couple of buddies and I have hit pretty good. One corner in particular has given up probably a dozen silver coins and close to a 100 wheat cents. This is the area I worked this morning with the LTD and 5" coil just inching my way along. Yesterday my buddy thumped me pretty good. He snagged 3 Merc's against my lowly, toasted V nickel and 5 wheat cents. V shown in todays loot and it might be an 1891, but just not sure. Today, besides a few pieces of clad and Memorials, I did manage 3 wheats, 19, 44 and 50, a 64d Rosie and a 56 quarter. The lipstick tube is Avon and the marble was in the dirt along with the 64d dime. By 10:30 the sweat was dripping. But, that's digging in the south in the summer time. Drink lots of water if you are out swinging. HH jim tn

Frank, when the grass is cut, low, de mode. When tall and thick, bp mode. Disc 4, sen 75 and 80 and 3 and 4h tones. One of my hunting buddies has a LTD, too, and we are both digging coins 7 and 8" deep with the 5" coil. And right now our ground is getting quite dry. HH jim tn
