Old pub site finds!

Hello all. Went out yesterday to the old pub site I've been working on for some time now. Here are some photos of the detecting site I regularly go to, and of the finds. I found an interesting button of a hunting dog holding a bird in its mouth, and an old horse shoe pin, that stioll has most of its original enamel coating, the colours are nice and bright, depsite having been in the ground for so long.

That is such a great little pin. Wouldn't you love to be able to meet the person who lost it, or threw it away, and talk to them for 5 minutes. I just can't help thinking that sometimes. If only that pin could talk. Marc.
