Old Train Station Hunt, pics and video

Years ago we hunted this site and it was tough, it was so over grown and the old train station was previously bulldozed. We found a few coins but it was tough digging. Last weekend we were on our way to another site when we noticed all along the railway, the city put in a water line. It made for easy digging and swinging!. We found a Chinese token, two Lc's, two silver 5 cent pieces and a sweet 1903 quarter.

Here is the video link

In the video I actually lick a silver coin for a friend lol.. Here is the pictures of the coins we found.

Yeah, you know what Laurie? You could give yourself a case of worms getting even a little bit of dirt in your mouth. All kinds of nasties lurk in the soil. My great grandfather was fond of saying that you had to eat a peck of dirt before you die (he was originally Canadian, BTW) but I seriously doubt he had any idea what he was advocating. . . . anybody still know what a peck is?

Keep up the great work and stay healthy!

Ha ha, no worries it was for a friend :) only after it happened my head started to go! Oh my all that stuff coming of the trucks possibly poisoning my self.. I never really thought of the little critters, were we live we don't have many parasites that effect humans but why risk it eh :) lol.. I grew up pulling and eating carrots out of our garden, my father always said a little dirt will only make you stronger.. Funny I never remember my mother using that line :).. But trust me, I won't make a ha bit of it ;)..
