old Yale padlock - age?

Eddie Currents

New member
I found this Yale padlock with my T2 in an old Los Angeles park this morning. It was obviously made especially for the LA park system. On top it says, "Super Pin Tumbler - Lubricate with graphite." The stuff on the shackle is corrosion, not dirt. The body of the lock appears to be brass or bronze.

Anybody know the approximate age of this?
Eddie does it have a patent number on it anywhere?
Not that is visible. They might have put one on the shackle but that would not be readable.

I can't help you on this one, but for future reference you can go to http://www.mwtca.org/mwpat.htm and it will give you dates of the patent numbers. Good luck and happy hunting.
