Went to Ohio over 4th of July weekend.
Asked my sister if there were any places to detect around her in the country. She said I could detect her deceased husband's family homestead farm.
Found the draped bust half cent on the way to the spring house (still running) and the other non-descript large cent which is slightly larger than the 1800's large cents about 10 feet away under a dead large tree.
It was a fun day detecting.
When I got out of the car and turned on the detector I got a hit right under the coil and dug up the wheatie. Thought to myself this is going to be fun. Right near it I found the 1873 injun penny.
I used the Sunray 12.5" coil and the Minelab 8" coil.
Thanks for looking!
