Omega 8000 coil covers

Just ordered an Omega 8000 with the 10" coil and 11"DD coil. Does anyone know what coil covers fit and where to get them? Doing a search doesn't yield any clear answers.

Even though the coils aren't interchangable, I'm pretty sure the covers are between several of the FT units.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but to the best of my knowledge the 10" and 11" coil covers for the Omega are the same as the ones for the F75, F70, F5, and T2.

I'm sure one of the dealers who sponsor this forum could get them for you.

Actually they are not the same. At least not the two that I ordered. I specifically asked if they were the same for the T2 and the Omega and I could not get it to fit the Omega coil properly. I was able to force it on but it was warped. I sent it back and they sent me another one and that one worked. I will try to find the place I bought them from and let you know but I don't think I have the site anymore. It did take me awhile to find them as well. Oh, and this is for the 11 DD coil for both.

This is where I purchased my covers.

good luck

The Fisher 11" coil cover fit perfect on the Fisher 11 coil i had, but on the T2 and omega 11 coil it is will not stay on.
It seems it is not tight enough on the Teknetics coils and has alot of extra room

EVERYONE FORGET THE COIL COVERS I CALLED TEKNETICS AND ASKED THEM IF I COULD USED "LIQUID PLASTIC " AS A COVER the TECH I TALKED TO SAID HE USES THAT ON HIS DETECTORS BUT DON'T LET ANY ONE KNOW HE SAID THAT CAUSE COMPANY'S WANT YOU TO BUY THE COVERS !!! $8.99 AT LOWE'S AND I COVER 6 COILS AND HAVE 1/2 A CAN LEFT.(don't buy the spray) US A BRUSH .THIS I A PERMANENT COVER THAT SHOULD LAST YEARS IF YOU JUST TOUCH IT UP ONCE AND A WHILE

I was looking at that today. So brush it own, I can do that. Not that it matters but it may just be lighter than the coil cover as well.

It realy works I put some on an old whates coil that was looking kinda funky .The thing looks brand new.as for the weight maybe adds an once if that.
